About Us

We worked hard to make this space perfect for you!

In November 2017 Thomas and Amber Rust first stepped foot inside the historic Cooley Memorial Hospital.  As they walked through the multiple spaces of the old hospital they were shown the maternity suite located on the third floor.

The room was surrounded by windows flooding the space with beautiful natural light.  Amber immediately fell in love with the light, the history and the building.

In April 2018 a lease was signed and construction began.  In November 2018 Cooley Collective Studios opened their doors to the public for the first event!  A morning with Santa!

Day by day construction continued.  A kitchen was added to the brick studio.  4 offices were constructed and occupied.  In September 2020 construction on the third floor was completed and Cooley Collective Studios became a hive of business!

What's next?

In June 2021 the owner of The Cooley Memorial Hospital put the old hospital up for sale.  After many prayers and with excited apprehension Thomas and Amber Rust made an offer in to buy the Cooley hospital.  The offer was accepted and the next step in the historic building’s history began.

The future of this building will be a collection of local businesses becoming a modern, state of the art office space on the inside while preserving the historic nature of the hospital on the outside!

We invite you to watch us grow!

Our Team

This huge project couldn’t be successful without the support of the entire Rust Family!  Each of Thomas and Amber’s 5 children have swung a sledge hammer, sanded dry wall and painted an office.

The team also consists of multiple Brigham City residents!  Neighbors and friends of the Rust family were always willing to pitch in and help!  It takes a village to raise a barn and Brigham City has the best village in the world!!
